Angels Will Not Sign Adrian Beltre

Joe McDonnell is reporting the Angels will not sign Adrian Beltre.This is interesting as the Angeles had seemingly became the front runners for Beltre after losing out on Carl Crawford.

There were numerous reports of the Angels presenting Beltre with a “significant” contract offer last week. Beltre already reportedly shot down a 5 year 64 million dollar offer from the Athletics. Rumor was he was using the Athletics offer as leverage against other teams.
