December 16, 2010| Jon Paul Morosi of YardBarker is reporting Zack Greinke has a no trade list of 15 teams that includes the Nationals, Yankees and Red Sox. However he could be traded to Rangers, Dodgers or Tigers.
With Cliff Lee off the board Greinke along with Matt Garza and Carl Pavano are three of the biggest name left for teams looking to acquire a quality starting pitcher via free agency or trade before the 2011 season.

Kerry Wood Reportedly will Reportedly Sign with Cubs for 1 Year 1.5 Million
December 16, 2010| Multiple sources are reporting Kerry Wood has agreed to a 1 year 1.5 million deal with the Cubs.
Reports say the Yankees offered more so this appears to be Kerry giving the Cubs a hometown discount. So much for speculation of the Yankees trying to reunite the Cubs 2003 starting rotation by signing Mark Prior and going after Carlos Zambrano and Wood. |
Nationals Set to Sign Chien-Ming Wang

Braves and Dan Uggla Close on Extension?
December 16, 2010| David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting the Braves and Dan Uggla are discussing an extension in the range of 5 years 60 million.
This is interesting since Uggla reportedly rejected a 4 year 48 million offer with the Marlins and was subsequently traded to the Braves. If this is true this would seem to be a great deal for the Braves since 30 homer 90 RBI second basemen are a rare commodity. |
